Description

Rockwool ProRox SL 930 – High-Density Stone Wool Insulation Slab

Rockwool ProRox SL 930 is a high-performance semi-rigid stone wool insulation slab designed for demanding industrial and building service applications. Offering excellent thermal efficiency, fire resistance, and mechanical stability, it is ideal for insulating flat and curved surfaces where a more rigid solution is required.

Key Benefits

  • Excellent Thermal Performance
Provides reliable insulation with thermal conductivity as low as 0.040 W/mK at 50°C, helping to minimise heat loss and improve energy efficiency.

  • Higher Temperature Capability
Suitable for service temperatures up to 350°C, making it ideal for more demanding industrial environments.

  • Non-Combustible Fire Safety
Achieves Euroclass A1 classification, delivering the highest level of fire resistance for safe system design.

  • Strong & Dimensionally Stable
With a higher density (55 kg/m³) and semi-rigid structure, it provides excellent mechanical strength and stability for vertical and horizontal installations.

  • Moisture & Corrosion Resistance
Low water absorption and minimal chloride content help protect systems from moisture ingress and corrosion risks.

  • Versatile Facing Options
Available with reinforced aluminium foil facing to provide an effective vapour barrier and a clean, professional finish where required.

  • Acoustic Performance
Contributes to sound insulation, helping reduce noise transmission in industrial and HVAC systems.

Applications

  • Insulation of tanks, vessels, and columns
  • Industrial equipment insulation
  • HVAC and process system insulation
  • Suitable for both horizontal and vertical surfaces requiring a stable slab
